The widerAdvance Facility was proud to take part in the two-day conference “Innovation, Trends and the Future of Research: Horizon Europe and the 10th Framework Programme”, held in Warsaw on 6-7 October 2025 and organised by Poland’s National Contact Point for EU Research Programmes (KPK).

This high-level event brought together experts, policy-makers, researchers and institutional representatives to discuss the current state of European research and innovation, with a strong focus on the transition from Horizon Europe to the upcoming 10th Framework Programme.

Focus on Widening and Strategic Collaboration

As part of the programme, the widerAdvance Facility was presented through two complementary formats:

  • A dedicated exhibition stand, where participants had the opportunity to learn first-hand about our mission, available services, and the open call currently supporting institutions from Widening countries and Outermost Regions.

  • A presentation in the Widening Portfolio panel, held on the second day of the event. The session highlighted how widerAdvance supports organisations in turning key research results into real-world impact — from valorisation and dissemination to capacity building and strategic follow-up funding.

Our presence in Warsaw provided an excellent opportunity to connect with key stakeholders, exchange insights, and reinforce cooperation with national support structures that play a critical role in informing and guiding applicants across Europe.

Strengthening the Widening Community
