This Privacy Policy outlines how personal data is processed on the WIDER UPTAKE project website in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the requirements set out in the Grant and Consortium Agreements under Horizon Europe.
1. Data Controller

As Project Coordinator, IPPT PAN oversees the implementation of Open Science practices and the Data Management Plan (DMP), in line with Horizon Europe data governance principles.
2. Scope and Purpose
Data is processed solely for:
- authentication of consortium members (login & password),
- controlled access to the project’s internal resources,
- compliance with EU audit and reporting obligations.
External stakeholder data (e.g., surveys) is processed by META Group under their separate privacy framework.
3. Legal Basis
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in project coordination,
- Article 6(1)(a) – user consent where applicable.
4. Data Protection Responsibilities
In accordance with Article 4.4 of the Consortium Agreement, parties share responsibilities under GDPR. Where necessary, data processing agreements will be established before any data exchange.
5. User Rights
Users may request:
- access to their data,
- correction or deletion,
- restriction of processing,
- to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
6. Confidentiality
Data marked as "Confidential" will be protected in line with Section 10 of the Consortium Agreement. Only authorized personnel will have access, based on strict need-to-know principles.

Only essential technical cookies are used for login authentication. No tracking or analytics cookies are deployed.
