The widerAdvance Facility invites Research Teams and Research Managers and Administrators (RMAs) receiving support from the Facility, as well as interested local and international stakeholders, to join its upcoming Open Days and Matchmaking Event in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
The event will give widerAdvance participants the opportunity to present their Key Exploitable Results to a jury, receive practical feedback and discuss their value proposition, potential applications and next steps with relevant experts and stakeholders.
The programme will include pitching sessions, round-table discussions on factors supporting innovation, and dedicated matchmaking and networking activities. Participants will be able to connect with:
- other Research Teams and RMAs receiving services from the widerAdvance Facility;
- socioeconomic actors offering insights into technology deployment and market needs;
- local and international stakeholders supporting research and innovation;
- representatives of European initiatives and networks, including the Enterprise Europe Network, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology and National Contact Points.
The Matchmaking Event will take place on 12 November in Tenerife, alongside a dedicated Study Visit to the Canary Islands’ research and innovation ecosystem on 10–11 November. The Study Visit will introduce participants to the region’s expertise and facilities in areas ranging from agrotechnology to astrophysics.
