What are individual services?
The widerAdvance Facility offers tailored support to help you maximise the impact and valorisation potential of your Key Exploitable Results (KERs).
The services combine dedicated workshops with one-to-one support from experienced experts. Experts are selected based on their expertise in relevant valorisation areas and, where appropriate, their experience in the thematic domain of your KERs.
This tailored approach helps you identify concrete next steps and practical solutions to support the further exploitation and uptake of your results.

How does the Client Service Journey look?
After submitting your application to the Facility, your eligibility will be assessed. If eligible, you will be invited to an Initial Engagement Meeting, which will result in the preparation of an Individual Service Delivery Plan (SDP). The SDP is a roadmap identifying the individual services that best match your Key Exploitable Results (KERs), together with the indicative timeframe for their delivery.
The journey starts with the D&E Academy, which provides practical knowledge on dissemination and exploitation tools and methodologies that can be applied directly to your KERs. The service lasts up to three months and combines workshops with individual coaching.
In parallel with the D&E Academy, you can access Coaching on Follow-up Funding, which provides guidance on public funding opportunities that may support the further valorisation and development of your results.
After completing the D&E Academy, if your KERs demonstrate immediate commercialisation potential, you may access IP Support and Standardisation Support. Both services are delivered through individual meetings with experts and result in practical recommendations and action plans tailored to your results. The services are expected to be completed within two months.
Prior to a matchmaking event, you may also be invited to use the Match to Third Parties (Pitching) service to prepare your pitch deck and strengthen your presentation to potential partners, investors or other relevant stakeholders. This service should be completed within 3 months.
While accessing the individual services, you will also have access to online trainings in form of webinars, providing opportunities for capacity building in various aspects of knowledge valorisation.
Who can access the services?
Eligible applicants are legal entities from Widening countries and Outermost Regions. These organisations should be involved, as a coordinator or partner, in completed or ongoing Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe projects or COST Actions.
On behalf of the organisation, both Research Teams (RTs) and Research Managers and Administrators (RMAs) can access the individual services.

How to access the services?
To benefit from the individual services, your organisation needs to apply through the Open Call of the widerAdvance Facility.
The application is submitted online and should include information about your organisation, the relevant Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe or COST project(s), and the Key Exploitable Results (KERs) for which support is requested.
Applications are assessed according to the eligibility criteria and the rules of the Open Call. Following the relevant cut-off date, eligible applicants are formally selected and invited to the Initial Engagement Meeting.
