In Horizon Europe, dissemination and exploitation (D&E) of research results are not optional activities, they are contractual obligations. These obligations are clearly defined in the Grant Agreement (GA) and need to be reflected and operationalised within the Consortium Agreement (CA).

Beneficiaries, particularly in Widening countries, often face challenges in fully understanding the requirements, setting up effective D&E strategies, and ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

This awareness-raising webinar aims to present the relevant GA and CA provisions, frame obligations in a user-friendly manner and present practical cases.

Objectives:

  • Explain D&E obligations as set out in Horizon Europe Grant Agreements.
  • Show how D&E is translated into Consortium Agreements and project practice.
  • Analyse a practical case and highlight what works and what doen’t
  • Share examples of good practices and common pitfalls

Learning outcomes:

Participants will have more enhanced understanding of D&E obligations in the frame of EU programmes as well as view D&E as a pathway to achieve sustainability of their research

Structure: Introduction by the event organiser, interactive exercise/poll on D&E knowledge (Mentimeter/Slido), presentation of WiderAdvance Facility, D&E in the Grant Agreement, D&E in the Consortium Agreement, D&E in Practice (examples of successful and weak D&E provisions), online Quiz on knowledge gained.

Speakers: Tigran ARZUMANYAN (Chairman SIPAC), Anahit KHACHIKYAN (Project Manager, SIPAC), Alicia BOTO CASTRO, (Researcher, Head of Department, IPNA/CSIC)
