The ERAatUC project strengthened the University of Coimbra’s leadership in materials engineering by installing a prestigious ERA Chair. This brought in an internationally recognized researcher to develop new materials for industry and deepen collaboration with top European institutions.
Beyond research, the project played a strategic role in increasing the university’s visibility and building long-term innovation capacity in the region.
