Could you briefly introduce yourself and the role you have in the organisation?
My name is Anna Baciarelli-Ulaha and I work at Lodz University of Technology. I am involved in the AI DesignTex project as both a project administrator and a researcher.
Before joining widerAdvance Facility, what were your main challenges regarding the valorisation of your key exploitable results?
One of our main challenges was understanding how to transform research outcomes into clearly defined key exploitable results.
We also wanted to better understand how to connect scientific outputs with real stakeholder needs, so that the results of our project could be further developed, used and communicated in a meaningful way.
Why did you decide to join the widerAdvance Facility?
We joined the widerAdvance Facility because we wanted to better understand exploitation strategies and impact pathways.
We were looking for practical guidance on how to think about our results not only as scientific outputs, but also in terms of their future use, target groups and potential impact.
You participated in the IP services provided by one of the widerAdvance Facility partners – UNICO. Could you share with us your insights and opinion about the service?
The service was very useful and practical.
It helped us better structure our thinking about our key exploitable results, the exploitation model, target users and the long-term impact of our research activities.
The support was valuable because it translated abstract concepts related to valorisation and exploitation into a clearer and more practical framework for our project.
Was the service helpful for the valorisation process of your KERs?
Yes, definitely.
The service helped us identify the value proposition of our results and better understand how our project outcomes could be transferred into future research, training activities and collaboration with stakeholders.
It also helped us see more clearly how our results could be used beyond the project itself.
